Our School’s Curriculum

Our school’s curriculum is recognized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Its primary objective is to provide a solid and unshakeable foundation in the core subject areas of science, mathematics, social science, language and environmental studies.

However, The Taruwin educational practice is not limited to textbook learning alone – instead our experiential curriculum provides hands-on learning, teaches macro concepts, encourages free expression and develops creative and critical thinking faculties.

We also use cutting-edge technological aids as an integral part of the classroom experience. This includes self-learning software programs, online tutorials, Smart Boards and computerized laboratories. (Visit our Infrastructure section for detailed information on our facilities.)

We believe that the most effective educational experience is a holistic one. The Taruwin curriculum is hence multifaceted, and includes an array of enrichment programs that span art, sport and community service. Above all, we do not follow a one-size-fits-all methodology – our curriculum responds to diverse learning needs and supports customized teaching approaches to complement each child’s age, learning style and developmental requirements.

The Taruwin consists of the main school and a kindergarten called Butterflies. The main school comprises the primary school (grades I to IV), middle school (grades V to VII)  and high school (grades VIII to XI)
